The old thread is locked meaning no more posts can be made there. It was getting too crowded, confusing, and - above all - unpersonable. I am summing up the end result of that thread below. Please do not post anything reiterating what I am saying below, it is simply not necessary.
if you are unaccounted for, have unresolved business about the event (ie- NOT you Alex), or wish to continue sorting out rooms, rides, etc. please do it HERE.
The old "Boston Tea Party" thread ended as follows:
Alex has her own room with Josh for Thurs, Fri, and Sat. She has nothing to do with any plans that are being made from this point forward.
S-Pod has THREE reservations:
One is for Friday and Saturday (non smoking) which is being shared already by Sarah, Gilles, Bradwood, and Ashley.
The second is a double occupancy for Friday and Saturday (smoking) which is up for grabs by whoever wants to fill it.
There is a third reservation for Thurs. that had to be made separate which is for Thursday night ONLY. Ashley and I will be using this and are open to sharing it with others arriving Thursday.
The open room is in Sarah's name but she has nothing to do with paying for it, etc. She reserved it as a courtesy to all of you as the hotel was booking up fast. If you want in on it, make plans amongst yourselves (feel free to use the message boards to do so) but PLAY NICE.

Just so everyone knows, pre-registration at the cheaper price goes until 3/10/06. I have already registered (except for the part where I mail my check in!) and I think Ashley has too. The website is www.teapartyswings.com . I can't remember if I posted it before or not... Also, I am not speaking for everyone in my room, but if the second room does not fill up completely with 4 people, I am more than happy to split the difference (for Friday and Saturday nights) so the people in the 2nd room don't get stuck paying a lot more. |

Well, I'm obviously in the extra room, since I caused so much consternation about getting it. :-) Alex, you were a trooper! Bean, you gotta be there with me. If you want, we can switch the reservation and put it on my card, I'll be responsible for it. We can talk about that next week, if I make it through this weekend.

Donna,
Having the reservation on my card is no big deal; unless the reservation does not get used and we do not cancel it, then they charge my card. Right now, my card is just holding the reservation, and I can cancel the reservation that day until 6pm if I need to. Since you and Kristy are already committed, then it is not a problem. :-) Now we just have to peer pressure Mattwood into going as well!

No table as far as I understand. Actually I don't really understand what the table is about either but I don't think it is something we need. Can't wait for this one...it may be just what the Swing Doctor ordered to revive my limp and ailing dance motivation!

OK, here is the update as far as I know:
Brad, Ashley, Gilles, and I are definitely going.
Alex is no longer going, but Josh may still come for the weekend, so he can then share the second room with Donna and Matt if Matt decides to come at the last minute.
If Josh doesn't go, and Donna is the only one in the second room, then we will cancel the 2nd room and just put 5 people in the first room.
I need confirmation by Thursday night from Donna and Josh if they are both going, otherwise I will cancel the second room on Friday.
This weekend is going to be so much fun! :-)
